At the heart of Verto Facility Solutions is our owner and operator, Shirley Shimshoon. Shirley’s career began in both the hospital and retail industries, where she developed a deep understanding of how vital a clean and safe environment truly is. Working in hospitals gave her first-hand experience with the role cleanliness plays in protecting patients, staff, and visitors, while her retail background taught her the importance of presentation, organization, and customer care.

Over the years, Shirley discovered that cleaning was more than a job — it was her true passion. She immersed herself in learning best practices, proper techniques, and the science behind creating healthy environments. Her dedication has shaped Verto Facility Solutions into a company built on passion, integrity, and excellence. Shirley cares about every detail and believes that the job must always be done right — because a clean space means a safe space.

Today, Shirley leads the company hands-on, ensuring all staff are trained directly under her guidance with ISSA-approved practices. Her leadership guarantees that our entire team shares her commitment to quality, safety, and professionalism.

Our Expert Advisor – Elias Khamis

Supporting our team is Elias Khamis, who brings over 23 years of experience in the commercial cleaning and facility management industry. Elias has worked across Calgary, Vancouver, and Toronto, collaborating with more than 100 facility managers and property owners. His knowledge of medical facilities, commercial buildings, and industrial environments strengthens our team’s skills and ensures we meet the highest industry standards.
